Colorado Photographer Michael Mowry Exhibits at Sellars Project Space

Photographer Michael Mowry, a Colorado native, exhibits at Sellars Project Space during its first Colorado Summer Emerging Artist Series in an exhibition titled, Isolate.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) July 23, 2008 -- Sellars Project Space is pleased to announce an exhibition of photographs by Colorado artist Michael Mowry in an exhibition titled, Isolate. This exhibition is part of Sellars Project Space's Colorado Summer Emerging Artist Series (short exhibitions of various local emerging artists). Isolate runs July 30 - August 12, 2008, with an opening reception held for the artist on Friday, August 1, 2008 from 6 - 9 p.m. during the Tennyson Street Cultural District's First Friday Artwalk and Stroll.

Michael Mowry, a Colorado native, has spent a large part of his adult life traveling the world (having now visited over 30 countries). His travel has greatly influenced and affected his photography and perception of the world. Working in the architectural industry for the last 16 years for OZ Architecture, Mowry's travels began his last year of college in Copenhagen, Denmark. Mowry is also very active in the arts in Colorado where he is President of the board for the Colorado Art Ranch and sits on the board of the Denver Art Museum's social arts-education organization, CultureHaus. His photographs have been included in several exhibitions in the area including a solo exhibition at CPAC.
