Splashtop to Ship on Millions of ASUS Motherboards, Starting with P5Q Family
Product now available on twelve motherboard models.
San Jose, CA (PRWEB) May 14, 2008 -- DeviceVM, the award-winning developer of Splashtop™, today announced the proliferation of their innovative software across four new models of ASUS motherboards. ASUS, the leading worldwide motherboard, components and notebook manufacturer, has integrated Splashtop onto the new P5Q family of products, bringing their offering of Splashtop-enabled motherboards to a total of twelve. The new models are: P5Q Deluxe, P5Q-WS, P5Q3 Deluxe, and P5Q-E.

Branded "Express Gate" by ASUS, Splashtop enables users to access the Internet seconds after turning on their PC. Splashtop premiered on high-end ASUS motherboards in October 2007 and launched on mainstream M3 series in January 2008. The newest motherboards will be available in the second quarter of 2008.

The company plans to have numerous Splashtop-enabled motherboards, desktops, and laptops available internationally in 2008.
